I spent my high school years in San Antonio Texas, but my parents have since moved to Colorado. I love to visit them and spend time in the mountains whenever I can. I have one older brother and together we have played just about every sport we possibly could. My favorite sport would have to be soccer. However, being from south Texas, you have to play football, so I brought my soccer skills to the football field and was a place kicker in high school and one year in college. I have since found more interests in other school activities. Here at the University of Kansas I have joined a club that designs, builds, and tests liquid fueled rocket engines. In the future I am not sure where I'll be, but hopefully somewhere in the space program. This summer I hope to have a fun and challenging experience while I search for the aspect of the space program that best suits me. " |
